The two sister cities of Isfahan and St. Petersburg had a video conference on 16 June 2020 regarding Corona confrontation, which was held by Isfahan municipality. Isfahan University of Medical Sciences' representatives took active part at this event. The experiences regarding prevention, management and control of COVID-19 as well as researches in that area were discussed at this conference.

This conference was the first symposium of its kind; The same conference will be held next year by the German side.
