Midwifery and Reproductive health Department

The Midwifery department offering specialty courses of Midwifery and Reproductive health in graduate (Bachelor's degree) and postgraduate courses of Midwifery major and PhD courses in Reproductive health major. It is also in charge of offering courses pertaining to midwifery to other majors in MUI.

Physical and mental health of mothers and their babies and offering health services for these vulnerable groups is  the major facet of  healthcare programs and offering these services in preventive stage is defined as the services of Midwifery.

Instructing the subjects pertaining to midwifery for all midwifery students and other medical majors on the basis of the most updated subjects and innovative educational methods in the world today which are available and in accordance with the needs of midwifery service taker community.

Training students for offering evidence-based services resulted from the research and creating fovorable attitude toward promotion of midwifery science in learners by conducting valid and applied research.

The mission of Midwifery Department is training committed, informed and proficient manpower for offering midwifery services in different preventive stages as an independent member of health community so as to train and educate students based on the updated scientific principles of the world along with nurturing midwifery professional ethics of learners.
