Adult Health Nursing Department

 It was firstly established in 1986 in school of Nursing and Midwifery .In 2011 ,two departments of Medical Surgical Nursing  and fundamental nursing were  combined and under the name as adults nursing which now covers both responsibilities of departments. Courses of critical care nursing and emergency care nursing are also managed by this department.

The basis for this school is to train knowledgeable, skillful, committed, and innovative students who care for promotion of patients’ health and take care of the patients with a community-oriented approach to fulfill physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of the clients.

Training committed and skillful nurses in fields of health, treatment, education and health services management as well as reinforcement of students’favorable  attitude and motivation in direction of giving high quality services to the clients as well as students’ evaluation in various academic levels.

Promotion of nursing as a profession through conducting research and expanding the culture of research amongst under graduate and graduate students.

Training nursing students to achieve appropriate clinical and scientific skills, and have a favorable attitude toward their profession.
