About Surgery Department

The surgical group was formed in 1968 with a subset of orthopedic, urologic and neurosurgical and gynecologic fields. Since 1991, These fields have become independent groups. The group was founded to train general surgeons and other related subspecialty. The main activity of the group is in the field of education, research and treatment. It plays a role in promoting the quality and quantity of academic and medical centers and try to always be Up To Date with Holding international congresses and send professors abroad and interact with other international centers. There are 34 faculty members in the group.
