About Medical Cardiology Department | Isfahan University of Medical Sciences

Department of Cardiology provides inpatient an outpatient care for patients with focus on cardiovascular diseases. Ii provides services for the catheterization laboratory (invasive diagnosis, percutaneous coronary artery intervention), electrophysiology study, Echocardiography, CT angiography, etc. The trainers in different levels learn how to manage the patients with cardiovascular disease.

Established in 1990 in Isfahan university of medical science as one of the subgroups of internal medicine department and then defined as an independent department named cardiology department

To retain, recruit and advance a strong graduate program for training professionals in cardiology field and its divisions

To commit serving the community by providing a superior standard of cardiovascular care to the patients with utilizing new technology and cost effect manner while upholding the highest standards of ethics

To carry and upgrade advanced clinical research in different fields related to cardiovascular disease
