About Dermatology Department

In 1985, Department of Dermatology, Faculty of Medicine, managed by Dr. Amir Houshang Momtaz from the Department of Internal Medicine, started operating at Khorshid Hospital. After his migration, Dr. Morteza Meghadadi was the second group leader until 1995 to assume this responsibility. Since then, Dr. Ali Asilian has been responsible for the group since 1996 and it is a great honor for me to serve as the fourth skin group manager since the beginning of 1997For more than three decades, more than 200 dermatologists have graduated from this group, who are now serving people around the country and a few overseas. Fortunately, most of these dear ones are from prominent scientific, research, and cultural figures and are proud of the society of dermatologists. Approximately 6-5 new assistants are accepted into the skin department each year and the same number graduate with specialized board. All medical students also attend medicalintern ship enshaiehat the dermatology department for two months. I would like to express my gratitude to retired professors such as Dr. Moghaddi, and colleagues such as Dr. Ali Momeni and Dr. Fazlollah Shariati, who have worked with the Skin Group for many years. Special Acknowledgments from Professor Ali Asilian and Madam Dr. Fariba Iraji, Dr. Farahnaz Fatemi, Dr. Gita Faghihi, Dr. Fatemeh Mokhtari, Dr. Fatemeh Mohaghegh, Dr. Mina Saber, Dr. Amir Hossein siadat, Dr.nazila poostian They are responsible for the implementation and the research and the spiritual. Fortunately, more than 80 dermatologists in Isfahan have held very good and friendly contacts with more than ten international and national congresses dedicated to collaborating with other provinces and cities and serving thousands of chemical victims during the imposed war. Hopefully, in the years to come, we will continue to honor the professors and assistants of the skin department. Until such a storm. Dr. Zabihollah Shahmoradi ,head of Dermatology.
