A Welcome Message from Dean Abbasali Khademi,

Greetings and welcome to the MUI School of Dentistry! As you navigate our website I hope you will develop a sense of who we are and an appreciation of the passion we have for excellence in dental education. Isfahan Dental School, founded in 1973, is an accredited official dental school registered as Class I dental school in Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MOHME) of Iran. We provide education to diverse undergraduate students and postgraduate residents to prepare them to practice dentistry in the 21st century with knowledge and understanding of many different patient populations, dental specialties, and varied practice settings. This education occurs in an ethical and professional environment in which high quality dental care is provided to our patients.

Since its beginning, the dental school has played an integral part in the development of oral health care services and dental education. This school has an outstanding reputation for its clinical teaching programs, exemplified by its graduates, and for its research and service programs that have impacted oral and general health locally, nationally and internationally. I am very proud to be a member of the Tufts family.

We are situated in KUHE SOFEH (SOFEH MOUNTAIN) neighborhood of the Isfahan metropolitan area and have the benefit of a large pool of patients who seek care at our clinics. Additional training in patient care is gained during assignments at affiliated hospitals and at externship programs.
