The School of Allied Medical Sciences is the latest addition to IUMS schools and has been established to house academic departments in biomedical sciences including Medical Lab Sciences, Radiology, Anesthesia, and Emergency Medicine. The aim is to create a school with modern equipment and facilities for education, training and research in biomedical sciences. This is a truly multidisciplinary school with close links and shared facilities with other schools including medical school and IUMS teaching hospitals. The students will be equipped with the knowledge and practical skills they require to assume prospective roles or carry out to further higher education when they graduate.
