Isfahan University of Medical Sciences jumps to 200th place in Times Higher Education World Rankings 2026

Isfahan University of Medical Sciences has risen 200 places in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, ranking for the first time in the top 601-800 universities in the world. The results were announced on October 17, 2025. In this ranking, 2,129 universities from 115 countries were evaluated, and more than 100 Iranian universities were on the list. It is worth noting that Isfahan University of Medical Sciences succeeded in achieving first place in the province, third place among all medical universities in the country and the University of Isfahan, and eighth place among universities under the Ministry of Science and the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. According to the Times report, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences has achieved the greatest growth in the areas of "Industry Relations" with a more than twofold increase in points and "Research Environment" with a growth of more than 50 percent.
