The Social Determinants of Health Research Center (SDHRC) was established in 2006. The main mission of this center is to carry out research in order to improve daily living conditions, tackle the inequitable distribution of power, money, and resources, to measure and understand the problem and assess the impact of action. The main research fields include: employment/unemployment, environment, income/poverty, insurance coverage, housing and racism/discrimination.
