  • Regional Meeting of World Federation of Medical Education at IUMS

    The regional meeting of World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) was held on May 22 at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) with the President of WFME, Professor Ricardo Leon-Borquez, and Dr. Shahin Shirani, the Chancellor of IUMS. Other attendees included Ms. Jana Cohlova, the Recognition Program Project Manager of WFME, Dr. Gohar Wajid, the WHO representative in the World Federation of Medical Education, and Professors from the Universities of Tehran, Shiraz and Yazd.

  • Neurosergeons observership at Medical University of Silesia

    According to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and Medical University of Silesia, three Neurosurgeons from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences were accepted for observerships to Medical University of Silesia. Three two week observership were offered to the Neurosergeons from October to December of 2022, which took place in Silesia Pediatric Hospital of Katowice under the supervision of Professor Marek Mandera, the head of the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery of that hospital and a Professor of that Universty.

  • Winter School of Persian Medicine

    The International Vice-Chancellery of the School of Iranian Medicine of Tehran University of Medical Sciences intends to hold a "Winter School of Persian Medicine" from 14th to19th of January, 2023 for non-Iranian audiences in English. All non-Iranian students and graduates of medical sciences and biological sciences can register in this program. A special discount is included in the registration for international students.
