The regional meeting of World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) was held on May 22 at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) with the President of WFME, Professor Ricardo Leon-Borquez, and Dr. Shahin Shirani, the Chancellor of IUMS. According to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences and Medical University of Silesia, three Neurosurgeons from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences were accepted for observerships to Medical University of Silesia. Three two week observership were offered to the Neurosergeons from October to December of 2022, which took place in Silesia Pediatric Hospital of Katowice under the supervision of Professor Marek Mandera, the head of the Department of Pediatric Neurosurgery of that hospital and a Professor of that Universty.
