Master’s degrees of nursing and midwifery have been offered since 1980 and 1990 in School of Nursing and Midwifery. In 2003, the faculty could access its goal of accepting PhD students in 2004. The school of Nursing and Midwifery offers you a wide range of postgraduate study opportunities to further your career in nursing and midwifery. The courses are designed to upgrade and advance your knowledge and skills for effective practice. The postgraduate level includes master’s degree and PhD programs.
Master’s degrees in nursing include six branches of adult health nursing, community health nursing, psychiatric nursing, pediatric nursing, neonatal intensive care nursing and intensive care nursing. Master’s degrees in midwifery include four branches of management, education, maternal health and law.
PhD courses are in nursing and reproductive health. All PhD degrees have course work and PhD thesis. The faculty currently covers 200 postgraduate students in different levels.
